Celta – Atletico Madrid
We are heading to the Estadio Balaidos where Celta will face Atletico Madrid in a match from the 6th round of La Liga. And we are going to preview it for you in our free sure soccer tips for today. Let’s get to work.
Celta didn’t have the best possible start of the 2020/21 campaign. They are currently 13th in the standings with 5 points won and a record of one win, two draws and two losses. They could’ve done a little bit better so far, that’s true.
Celta lost their last two matches in La Liga and they will try to change their fortune. Before the international break Oscar Garcia’s team traveled to face Osasuna, but they suffered a 0-2 defeat in Pamplona. Oscar’s 4-4-1-1 formation didn’t work and his substitutions didn’t have much impact as well. Most likely he’d be doing some changes against Celta in the next game.
Atletico Madrid won just 5 points in their first three matches, so now Los Colchoneros are 12th in the standings. Of course, Atletico’s potential is much bigger, so we expect some better performances from them after the last international break.
In their last match Atletico hosted Villarreal at the Wanda Metropolitano, but they didn’t find a way to break their opponent. The match in the capital ended without any goals scored – 0-0.
Against the Yellow Submarine Diego Simeone once again chose to leave Diego Costa on the bench opting for Luis Suarez instead. It’d be interesting to see what kind of choices Cholo will make for the next game.
These are our free sure soccer tips for the La Liga showdown between Celta and Atletico Madrid at the Balaidos. Atletico are still looking for their second win for the season, but Celta are not an easy team to beat, especially in Vigo.
