Liverpool are hosting Brighton & Hove Albion
Trying to make it 13 wins from 14 games, Liverpool are hosting Brighton & Hove Albion at their fortress Anfield Road on Saturday. In our English Premier League predictions we are going to take a good look at this match.
Liverpool can’t be more satisfied with the way their season is going so far. In 13 games played, the Reds are having a wonderful record of 12 wins and one draw. They are having a solid 8 points advantage in front of the second Leicester City, which is giving the team a huge confidence for first title since 1990.
Everything is going just perfect for Liverpool so far. Even when they don’t have the result they want, they still manage to score in the late minutes and win. But this is the champions’ mentality.
Few days ago Liverpool faced Napoli in a match from the Champions League, but the game ended without a winner – 1-1. The centre back Dejan Lovren scored Liverpool’s only goal in the game. Despite of the draw, Liverpool are still leading their Champions League and they will probably not have any problems to progress in the competition they won last season.
Brighton & Hove Albion are having an okay season so far – not so great, not so terrible. They are 12th in the league standings with 15 points, while their record shows four wins, three draws and six losses.
This is a tough schedule for Brighton & Hove, because now they face Liverpool, while a week ago they met the second best team in the standings Leicester City. The Foxes dominated at the American Express and secured an easy 2-0 win. Graham Potter’s team survived 64 minutes without conceding a goal, but after all Leicester took the win with strikes from Ayoze Perez and Jamie Vardy.
It’s our English Premier League predictions for the game between Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion at the legendary Anfield Road. Be careful with looking for surprises here, becase we don’t think there will be any.
